When I titled this piece, I didn't expect anyone to see the name.

The idea of this design was to celebrate the album Dark All Day by Gunship.

This early piece of erotica was first done in 2019, and as a statement of self.

If you're a woman and you like sex, you're labelled as a slut, a whore. This piece is to say that you're allowed to enjoy what you enjoy, music or naked ladies. Style, colour, sexuality, music. None of that is evil, and it's all to be enjoyed at a human level.

I worked background forward on this, starting with the album art. My reference was too warm to be put in front of all that purple and pink, so desaturating her and the blue lowlight was purely to pull her away from the background.

The heavy use of 9RS on the foreground gives her a painterly texture, which wasn't actually my intention, which, ironically, would now be my active intention...
